Siri AI is Apple’s next-generation version of Siri, powered by Apple Intelligence. Unlike the Siri you may be used to, Siri AI understands natural, conversational language, can reach into the apps on your device to find content and take action, and can chain together multiple steps across different apps to complete a request, all from a simple spoken or typed request. Habitify is built to work with this new Siri. Through Apple’s App Intents framework, Habitify exposes its core actions and data directly to Siri AI, so you can manage your habits by voice, not through a rigid, pre-built command, but through natural conversation.

How to enable Siri AI on your Apple device

Siri AI requires an Apple Intelligence–capable device and isn’t turned on by default. Since this depends entirely on Apple’s own settings and device requirements rather than anything inside Habitify, the official Apple Support documentation is the best source to follow:
  • How to get Siri AI — covers exactly which devices and OS versions support Siri AI (for example, iPhone 15 Pro or later running iOS 27), supported languages, and regional availability.
  • Turn on and activate Siri on iPhone — walks through turning Siri on and activating it, including the option to try Siri AI (Beta) if your device supports it.
The general path, once your device qualifies:
  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap Apple Intelligence & Siri.
  3. Turn on Apple Intelligence, then turn on Siri AI if prompted.
  4. Set up how you’d like to activate Siri — by voice (“Hey Siri” or “Siri”), or with a button press.

What can you do with Siri AI in Habitify

Once Siri AI is enabled and Habitify is connected, you can manage your habits hands-free, using plain language rather than a fixed set of commands:
  • Log habits by talking: tell Siri what you did, and it logs the matching habit in Habitify for you.
  • Ask about your progress: ask for your stats or how a specific habit is trending, and Siri pulls the answer straight from your Habitify data.
  • Trigger updates hands-free: mark a habit complete, skip it, or make other updates without touching your phone.
This builds on top of Habitify’s existing Shortcuts-based Siri integration, but goes further: instead of needing to pre-build and name a specific shortcut for every action, Siri AI can understand your request directly and act on Habitify’s data in the moment.
