Your habits don’t exist separately from the rest of your day, they sit right alongside your meetings, appointments, and everything else on your calendar. This integration syncs your Habitify habits directly into Google Calendar, so you can see and manage them in the same place you already manage your schedule, instead of switching between two separate apps to get the full picture of your day.

How it works

  • For a habit without time-based reminders, it will be synced as an all-day event.
  • For a habit with time-based reminders, each reminder will be synced as an event of the habit. Reminder time will be the start time.
  • The description of your habit will be synced, too, as the description of the event.
In your Google Calendar, a new calendar Habitify will be created for all the habit events synced from Habitify. This can help you manage the events more easily when you can modify all the habit events by manage the Habitify calendar only.

How to set it up

  1. In Habitify app, go to Settings
  2. Navigate to Integration, then tap to open Google Calendar.
  3. In Google Calendar’s setting screen, tap the Connect button.
  4. Sign into your Google Calendar account and complete the authorization steps.
  5. Once the authorization is set up successfully, you can configure:
    1. Under On Event Delete, choose between the status update when you delete the habit’s event synced to your Google Calendar, ‘Mark as Failed’ or ‘Mark as Skipped’.
  6. Once everything is set, tap the く button in the top right corner to save and return.

Limitations

  • If you delete the calendar Habitify from your Google Calendar, later change will not be synced. Please disconnect the integration and repeat the step to connect.
  • Archiving or deleting your habit from Habitify will remove all the habit’s event in your Google Calendar.
  • Deleting all events or deleting all future events of the habit from Google Calendar will not mark your habit as skipped or failed.
