Understanding the Statistics tab

In your Habitify Circle, two key statistics measure your group’s collective success and drive: the Unity Streak and Momentum Points. While both are powered by completing habits, they track different aspects of your team’s performance.
Your habit progress will be counted towards both the Unity Streak and Momentum Points starting from the day after the day you share the habit.

Unity Streak

The Unity Streak is the ultimate measure of your Circle’s daily consistency. It shows how many days in a row every active member of the circle has completed at least one of their shared habits.Challenge Vs Circle (3)Here are the 5 rules to keep the Unity Streak alive:
  1. Only the completion of a habit with goal per day and scheduled to repeat ‘Today’ is contributed to the Unity Streak.
  2. If everyone completes at least one of their daily habit today, then Unity Streak increases by 1. Marking a habit as ‘Skipped’ or ‘Failed’ is the same as not doing it.
  3. The completion is counted to the current day only when the completion is made on the the current day and for the current day.
  4. If a member turns on Off Mode, they are given a “free pass”, the Unity Streak still can continue without them.
  5. If every single member of the circle is in Off Mode at the same time, the streak doesn’t break. Instead, it freezes until the first person returns from Off Mode and completes a habit.
From the Statistics tab, you can tap on the Unity Streak and see contribution status of all members: who have completed at least 1 habit today, who haven not, and who are free.

Momentum Points

Momentum Points are the simplest measure of your circle’s total effort. This statistic shows the raw output of the group.Circle Momentum Point 1The rule is straightforward: 1 Completion = 1 Momentum PointEvery time any member completes any shared habit, one point is added to the circle’s total Momentum score, regardless their goal type. It’s a running total of all the positive actions taken by the group. All members can get a intuitive view on the Momentum Points of the circle, including:
  • A trend chart that represents the Momentum Points of each day in the last 30 days.
  • A total Momentum Point of the current week with the Monday as the First day of the week. Once a new week starts (a new Monday comes), the Momentum Point of the week will be reset to 0.
From the Statistics tab, you can tap on the Momentum Points to see the point of each members in the circle. This is a place where the circle can become more of gamification.

Rules of sending check-in reminder
  • One check-in per habit: You can only tap the ‘Check-in’ button once for the same habit for each person within a 24-hour period.
  • Five check-ins per person: In total, you can send a maximum of 5 check-ins to any single person within 24 hours (meaning you can remind them about up to five different habits).

FAQs

If your habit is a good habit, and you’re trying to share your habit but it’s still not working, it might be a temporary connection issue. Please try these quick fixes:

The entire concept of a Circle is built around positive, shared action and growth. The group’s progress, Momentum Points, and Unity Streak are all calculated based on the contributions and successful check-ins of its members.
  • Good Habits are about taking action. When you complete one, you are actively contributing to the Circle’s success.
  • Bad Habits, on the other hand, are about avoidance and inaction. Success is achieved by not doing something.
Because this concept of “not doing” doesn’t fit with the model of active, shared contribution, only good habits can be shared in a vircle. The Solution: If your goal is to quit a bad habit with your group, try reframing it as a positive “Good Habit.” For example:
  • Instead of sharing the bad habit “No Junk Food,” create and share a good habit called “Eat a Healthy Snack.”
  • Instead of “Don’t Smoke,” create and share “Practice a Breathing Exercise.”
There are 2 possible reasons:
  • Your habit does not have the goal per day. Completions for habits with a weekly, monthly, or yearly goal will not be counted towards the Unity Streak.
  • Your habit is just shared to circle today. To ensure every member has a fair chance to see and start a new shared habit, the Unity Streak calculation for a new habit begins on the day after it is added to the circle.
Circle is not added to Webste & Desktop apps yet. Currently, Circle is only available for iOS and Android apps.
