How to set it up
- In Habitify iOS app, go to Settings.
- Navigate to Integration, and tap to open Apple Calendar.
- For the first time setting it up, you may be asked to grant the access permission.
Choose ‘Allow Full Access’.- In Sync Enabled, switch the toggle button ON, then configure:
- Under Sync as, choose between 2 modes:
- All-Day Events: Each habit syncs as a single all-day event, appearing at the top of your daily schedule regardless of when the habit is actually due, with the event’s recurrence matching your habit’s repeat settings.
- Based on Reminder Time: Each of your habit’s time-based reminders becomes its own individual event, respecting the specific times you’ve set. If a habit has multiple reminders in a day, you’ll see multiple events for it. Each event defaults to 15 minutes long, which you can adjust later.
- Under Excluded Habits, tap + More, and select the habits which stay out of the sync.
- Once everything is set, tap the く button to save and return.
How it works
When Habitify and Apple Calendar is connect successfully, a new calendar “Habitify V2” will be created in your Apple Calendar with all the habit events. There’s no syncing of check-in between Habitify and Calendar. Therefore, it may happen the case that your habit is completed but the Calendar still sends the reminders.Removing synced events
All habit events will be removed once you turn off the synchronization.- In Habitify app, go to Settings.
- Navigate to Integration, and tap to open Apple Calendar.
- In Sync Enabled, switch the toggle button OFF.
- Tap the く button to save and return.
